'For those of us who love chocolate, there is now evidence to make us feel better about our sweet tooth. A large European study (19,000 participants) found that those who ate 7.5 grams per day of chocolate had a 27% lower risk of heart attack and 48% lower risk of stroke. The study showed that there was a clear link between chocolate/cocoa and lowered blood pressure. Aim for dark chocolate that is 60% or higher cocoa, and have one ounce several times per week.' -Tieraona Low Dog, MD
