More Uses for Grapefruit Seed Extract

'In a previous RealFarmacy article, I had discussed using grapefruit seed extract orally to treat Candida yeast or fungal overgrowth and also as an antibiotic for colds and flu. But originally, grapefruit seed’s powerful antimicrobial and anti-fungal applications were external.

Hospitals used it for awhile as an antiseptic for interior surfaces, and fruit growers sprayed it on their crops to minimize fungal threats. Studies that compared its effectiveness to chlorine bleach, isopropyl alcohol, and colloidal silver found GSE to be superior as an antimicrobial.'
